Day 1
Arrival (Wellington)
Your trip begins on your early morning arrival in Wellington! the capital city of New Zealand. It is located at the south-western tip of the North Island, between Cook Strait and the Rimutaka Range. By noon time, enjoy the food scene offering they have and visit Wellington’s Te Papa National Museum. It is NZ’s national museum and art gallery. They have unique insight into NZ way of life- both past & present. Explore treasures and stories of this country, natural environment, Maori culture, art heritage, art collections and interesting history.
Day 2
Martinborough
Martinborough is a town in NZ known as home to 35 vineyards. You can enjoy sipping wine and eat lunch perfect for a couple. Then hit the road of Cape Palliser for a dramatic scene. By the edge of the coast, you can view Palliser Bay. Then visit the famous Cape Palliser Lighthouse. You can enjoy climbing 250 steps to the lighthouse, see the stunning water view and watch the seal colony. Located in Southeast Wellington.
Day 3
Napier and City tour
The city of Napier is known for its Art Deco buildings that have made Napier famous as one of the most complete collections of Art Deco buildings in the world. Take a city tour in Napier. Then drive to Hastings to visit and stroll the Havelock North. Havelock North sits in the Hawke Bay region. The place is known as generally hilly and small gullies (like small valleys). Also the Havelock North has naturally many bushes and trees. They have lush landscapes. Also just outside Havelock North, they have an art gallery, cafe and boutique shopping.
Day 4
Napier
Your morning starts by driving from Hastings up north to visit the National Aquarium of New Zealand too! It is home to the country’s largest marine display of sharks, kiwis, piranhas, and more. Explore many marines out there. Then visit Bluff Hills Lookout in northeast of Napier City. You can drive up to the lookout point or walk up the hill. The lookout provides panoramic ocean views and ports.
Day 5
Rotorua
From Napier, enjoy a long drive to Rotorua for about 2 hours 30 minutes. Then visit Matamata, a town in the Waikato region of New Zealand's North Island. Just southwest of the town is The Shire, it is a hobbiton movie set tour. The Shire is fully inland landscape, downland and woods like countryside. The tour begins with a ticket center, gift shop, garden bar with beautiful views over the countryside. Then take the Hobbiton Village Tour, the place is so green! After that you’ll get to see The Hobbit Holes, the homes of the hobbits that are built into the hillside, are incredibly cute.
Day 6
Auckland
Visit Auckland’s well known harbor, Viaduct Harbor. It has a beautiful coastal view, but the area also offers bars, restaurants, cafes and other things to keep travelers entertained. Located on the area of the Freemans Bay/Auckland CBD waterfront. Many beautiful sailboats moored. There are many restaurants and bars on the shore. Check out some of the awesome rooftop and waterside bars and eateries.
Day 7
Sky Tower
Ride to the top of the Sky Tower to enjoy incredible views of landmarks within the Auckland area. Sky Tower also has an exciting hub of adrenaline activities like sky jump and sky walk, sky-high events and superb dining.
